MEL-p Type lying microphones of an equal sound transfer frequency characteristics, very good front-back damping and low noise level. The casing of the microphone is made of brass, covered with white powder, and fixed to a round base made of polymethyl methacrylate (plexiglas). The microphones are equipped with a 5-metre wire terminated with an XLR plug. The principle of operation of such a microphone is based on reflecting the sound from a round plexiglas base to a microphone capsule. Application: in churches as an altar microphone.
